and now we have sold the homestead in Missouri.  The closing was on Tuesday, and then we packed up a Budget truck Wednesday morning with our boxes and stuff that we had loaded out in the shop and ready to go. Finished that up around noon and headed out. Made it back to Florida around 9 p.m. last night. We'll put our stuff in storage until we can find a place that we like and want to buy.

Julie Thompson, at Remax in Mountain Grove, is the name of the real estate agent who is representing us for the sale of the house.  It's also listed on Trulia, the Remax websites, Misssouri multi-list, the national multi-list, and a few other places.

We listed the house with a real estate agency today, so we've taken down our "For Sale By Owner" ads.  However, we will post the new links as soon as Remax and Julie (our real estate agent) have them posted, which will probably be Monday, July 27th.

Another new month.  Not sure what this one will bring, but we'll see.  We have now reduced the price on the homestead to $110,000.

Spring has finally arrived.  I believe, anyway.  We are supposed to get some cooler weather towards this evening, but hopefully no more frosts or cold weather.  The warmer weather has been nice.

The ticks are out, though.  If you would like to come and look at the property and intend to walk the property lines through the woods, you may want to bring your favorite kind of bug repellent spray with you.

We've been snowed in a few times now this winter, twice in less than 2 weeks just recently!  With the warmer temperatures over the past few days, the snow is melting.  We have mud now, but hopefully the warm temps and sunshine will dry that up fairly soon!

We have been busy trying to get things taken care of, packing, sorting, and getting rid of lots of stuff we don't need.  Since the temperatures were so cold, we really worked inside the house for the past few weeks or so.  Once it warms up nicely, we will start on the shop.
